Interview: 'My First Ex-Husband': Joy Behar offers inside look at life, love in new play

Joy Behar's very first audiences were an eclectic group − including any traveling salesmen who happened upon her Brooklyn home.

"I was always funny as a kid," the Emmy Award-winning comedian and host of "The View" said. "I grew up in a big Italian family, aunts and uncles were always around. We all lived in the same building, and I would just do routines on every floor. The Fuller Brush man would come, I would do 10 minutes for him. It was just that kind of childhood."
